OU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY PARTICIPATING IN THE SISTERS OF FAITH WOMEN'S GROUP! HELP US HELP OTHERS AND HAVE FUN DOING IT! All women are encouraged to and welcome to participate as a Sister Of Faith. The women of Riverside First Church of God meet together to fellowship, share needs, joys, answers to prayer, minister to needs of the church and community, support missions and to be of help when needed. We also like to laugh together, cry together and have fun in the Lord.

Purpose and Goals of Ministry

We base our fellowship of women on Col 3:23 ' And whatsoever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord, and not unto men.' We strive to reach out to others. Send support to local and foreign missions. To pray and help meet the needs of our congregation through sending cards, prayer and encouragement. We want to be involved. We want to make a difference. We also, as a group of women, want to individually grow in the Lord and be open to His leading in our personal lives.

When and Where we meet

Our meetings are held at the Riverside First Church of God and the schedule is as follows:

• Sept: Second Tuesday of the month at 6pm
• Oct-May : First Tuesday of the month at 6pm

We each have a secret sister that we minister to anonymously throughout the year. We send cards, gifts, pray for them and encourage them without them knowing who is sending the encouragement. This is an enjoyable part of the year and is also very rewarding.

We have three fund raisers each year. The proceeds raised are given to local and foreign missions.

We take a trip each year, usually in April, from a Friday thru a Sunday. This is a good time of fun, fellowship and growth. The women get to know each other better.

All of our activities are scheduled a year in advance and each woman is given a copy of the yearly schedule.
