911 was called to a local church where a member had a heart attack and died in their pew. The emergency workers carried out 17 people before they found the one who was actually dead. Many churches today seem more like a morgue than a church. They somehow became a religious social club for the goodie-goodies, rather than a spiritual hospital for hurting people who need healed. Jesus didn’t die so that we could keep salvation for ourselves. He didn’t establish a church so that its members could sit there and feel self-righteous in some kind of religious wax museum.
