A Whole New World

Ephesians 2:11 Therefore, remember that formerly you who are Gentiles by birth and called “uncircumcised” by those who call themselves “the circumcision” (which is done in the body by human hands) — 12 remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.

There are few more painful feelings than the feeling of being “excluded” and “unaccepted”. Some students go to high school and feel like outsiders in their own school. Others experience that same feeling in the church they attend.

This week we will look at “belonging” with Jesus and “belonging” with the church we attend with other believers. Are there secrets to truly feeling like a part of the group and a part of the ministry? Does Jesus really accept me just as I am?
