1st Corinthians 13:12, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.”
When my wife was a little girl, her parents took her to get glasses. She had never had them and had never been tested. When they found the right lenses, she was amazed. She could see things clearly for the first time in her life. Her parents wept, because they didn’t know.
Let’s be clear that we don’t see all of God’s reasoning in creation. Those who don’t know Him blame Him for things they perceive, but don’t see clearly.
In this message, we will seek to understand, or at least try on a few lenses that can help us to see more clearly until the day we see it all when we see Jesus.
