Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” The last part of this scripture is a life-changer. The realization of Christ’s presence in every moment of our lives can help us to make decisions that will glorify Him when we might have chosen otherwise. In times of trial, His presence reassures us, even when we can’t see the solution. His presence in His Church keeps us from being reduced to a “religious social club” and reminds us that we are the Body of Christ and we have a mission to carry out, to make disciples, to share what we have found, and to make a difference in the lives of those we are privileged to know. If you’re struggling, this will be a good message to reassure you. If you’re wandering or less-than-victorious as a witness to Christ, this message will motivate you to positive decisions for change.
